In 2016, her song The Valley was premiered by BET. In 2017, Keshia moved to West Hollywood and started acting school. In 2017, she hosted We Day in Washington. The following year, Keshia guest-starred in Private Eyes.
Keshia was in a relationship with the rapper Drake. Later in 2010, she also was romantically involved with Ray Emery. She won the Canada Radio Music Award, Canadian Urban Music Award, Canadian Screen Award, MuchMusic Video Award, and many more, and she was nominated for the Rising Star Award, Juno Award, etc.
