The famous Turkish presenter introducing "mysterious Azerbaijan" "This is our homeland" - VIDEO

The NTV channel, one of the famous Turkish television channels, has prepared an interesting program that reflects the cultural heritage, history, past and present of Azerbaijan. The “Mysterious Azerbaijan” program, which was created within a month, has already been presented to viewers.

Redaktor.az reports that  Esra Gezginci , the leader and host of the project,  shared her impressions about the program dedicated to Azerbaijan with Modern.az. He expressed his satisfaction that his first shooting outside of Turkey was in Azerbaijan.

“We are working on the program “Mysterious Istanbul” on the NTV channel. I intended to make a program abroad with him. When thinking about this, Azerbaijan came to my mind first. In this regard, I felt responsible that I cannot introduce another country without photographing the brotherly country. That’s why I wanted to start from Azerbaijan. We have shot a total of 10 programs related to Azerbaijan. We can say that this program reflects a wonderful journey from Baku to Shusha, the capital of the Turkic world. We were proud to shoot in the liberated territories. We shot under difficult conditions in Shusha, Fuzuli, Agdam, Hadrut and Jabrayil. While in Karabakh, the current situation of Fuzuli and Aghdam affected me the most. But when I looked there, I was full of hope when I dreamed of the mine-free state.
I think that there has never been a program that shows the culture and history of mysterious Azerbaijan so deeply.”

Esra Gezginci emphasized the importance of introducing Azerbaijan to the world:

“The relations between Turkey and Azerbaijan are important for us. I have already introduced the beautiful places of Turkey, and now I want to contribute to the introduction of Azerbaijan. We see Azerbaijan, which is a part of us, as our Motherland. For this reason, we wanted to shoot in a place outside of Turkey that we consider our homeland.

Although we as a nation have been separated for a long time, we know that we are brothers. Just as we stood by Azerbaijan in its just cause in the Karabakh war, we are also standing by Azerbaijan as media.”
