Facebook, YouTube & Twitter Blocked in Pakistan - Reports Suspecting Shut Down of Social Media Platform Following Arrest of Former Pakistan PM Imran Khan

 


The Government has blocked access to Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube and these social media services remain down in Pakistan after widespread criticism over the arrest of former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek- e- Insaf chairman (PTI), Imran Khan.

 

PTI Chairman, Imran Khan, was arrested from Islamabad High Court ( IHC) by Rangers personnel, who had an arrest warrant issued by the National Accountability Bureau ( NAB ) in the Al-Qadir Trust case.

 

Many users have reported degraded internet services across the country, especially as they attempted to access to different social media platform.

However, the Government has completely blocked access to Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube and these services remain down in Pakistan.
