SL vs UAE Highlights, World Cup Qualifiers 2023 - Sri Lanka Beat United Arab Emirates By 180 Runs

 

Sri Lanka beat the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by a mammoth 175 runs in their ICC World Cup 2023 Qualifiers match played at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. 

UAE were bowled out for 180 in just 39 overs following some superb bowling by the Lankans. 

Sri Lanka register a massive win against UAE to boost their net run rate early in the CWC23 Qualifier.

Earlier, Sri Lanka unleashed with the bat to leave UAE chasing a monster target of 356 in Bulawayo.

The top four all made half-centuries to set up a big Sri Lanka total, and some late fireworks from Charith Asalanka added gloss to the biggest first innings score of the tournament so far.

And Wanindu Hasaranga tied UAE in knots to leave them five-down after 25 overs of the reply, well short of the required rate.
